All yoga retreat and holiday prices are quoted and payable in GBP.
Samyama Yoga is not responsible for any fees incurred due to currency exchange or fees charged by your credit card/bank for processing funds in another currency.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained therein are correct. It is also the customer’s responsibility to inform Samyama Yoga of any changes to their contact details provided upon booking.
It is the customer's responsibility to bring his/her own yoga mat and necessary props.
The customer shall pay Samyama Yoga a non-refundable deposit in the sum of £100 for retreats or £500 for holidays for each person named in the reservation.
The balance due shall be paid by the customer to Samyama Yoga 60 days prior to the date of departure or retreat/holiday start date unless otherwise indicated upon booking. Bookings made 4 weeks BEFORE any event must be paid in full at time of booking. Payment can be made via the website through Paypal, credit/debit cards or bank transfer.
If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date Samyama Yoga reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
In the event of cancellation by the customer, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund, minus the deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable yet transferable to a third party.
For yoga retreats:
Cancellation 4 weeks or less before due arrival date, 0% refund
Cancellation 5 to 8 weeks before due arrival date, 50% refund
Cancellation more than 8 weeks before due arrival date, 100% refund
For yoga holidays:
Once full payment is paid, no refunds will be issued as accommodations and tour operator expenses will have been incurred at this point.
Due to situations beyond our control, Samyama Yoga reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare. For yoga holidays a minimum number of participants is required. Once this is achieved, only then will Samyama Yoga confirm the trip and notify customers to book flights.
Samyama Yoga is not held liable for flight costs.
The customer must notify Samyama Yoga in writing during the process of booking (on your registration form) of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel and/or any medical condition. Failure to notify Samyama Yoga may result in the customer being refused travel. Failure to notify Samyama Yoga of any such condition that results in cancellation will have full cancellation fees to the customer. Some trips may be unsuitable for customers due to age, mobility, disability, pregnancy or physical or mental conditions. It is the customer’s responsibility to check prior to booking. Samyama Yoga is not required to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing. Samyama Yoga will do its best to meet customer’s special requests including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the contract and therefore Samyama Yoga is not liable for not providing these requests. Medical facilities vary from country to country and Samyama Yoga makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such treatment.
Samyama Yoga reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the status of any guests who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.
The customer shall not use the venues during retreats and holidays except for permitted use and shall not use the properties for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, entertainment, immoral or improper purposes. The customer shall not do anything, which may be a nuisance or annoyance to Samyama Yoga and its guests, staff or owners.
The customer shall keep all fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles, which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and of equal value.
Samyama Yoga reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of the property or any of its facilities by the customer in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and Samyama Yoga shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability damages or loss.
Samyama Yoga retains all copyright licence rights and sole exclusive ownership of the information, photographs and material displayed on its website. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way.
In the course of participation in a Samyama Yoga event, the organiser, participants and guides may take photos or video. These images may be used in any Samyama Yoga materials, website, Facebook, etc., unless customers specifically request to the photographer or in writing, to not use any material your image is depicted in. Otherwise, permission is granted to Samyama Yoga to perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
Any user of the website has to be 18 years of age or older and agrees to be entirely financially responsible for all charges and other fees arising from use of the website.
Samyama Yoga accepts no responsibility for keeping the website up to date and will not be liable for any loss by its failure to do so. We are not responsible for the contents of any links displayed on our website.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all the relevant travel documentation and arrives at the airport on time.
Samyama Yoga can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.
Samyama Yoga and its partners reserve the right to alter retreat programs and itineraries due to weather or road conditions. These programs may be changed or cancelled at any moment during the trip to assure the safety of our customers and staff.
In the event that the customer decides to downgrade their accommodation after monies have been paid, the customer will not be entitled to any refund. If the customer wishes to upgrade the new price will apply.
The customer must comply fully with all and any health and safety regulations introduced by Samyama Yoga. The customer must ensure that he/she is medically and physically fit and able to use facilities and participate in activities. Customers who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice if practicing yoga. Samyama Yoga is not liable for any injuries to the customer in his/her use of our facilities or participation in activities. A customer must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness and inform the teacher of any previous injuries.
Samyama Yoga cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the customer.
In the event of a customer having any complaint then he/she will not discuss this with any third party and shall notify the organiser as soon as possible.
Samyama Yoga shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
Samyama Yoga accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses, which may be received during the customer’s stay or travel.
We recommend that all customers have adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip.
For solo/single traveler, the twin sharing price is for 2 people traveling together. We do not guarantee to get someone to share with the solo traveler. If we get some other interested guest then both can share otherwise please opt and book for single occupancy.
When paying online via PayPal please add 5% and 2.5% surcharge for debit/credit payments. This covers what they are charging us to process your card payment. Please use xe.com internet currency convertor to get equivalent rates in USD/GBP/EURO/AUD.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by UK Law and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts in all matters regarding them.
